This kit comprises of sections of water trough that will build up to a total length of 30 inches/760mm. Use in conjunction with the Large Water Tower (kit 551).
Being modular the troughs can be shorter, or longer if combined with a second kit. The design has been careful not to foul most standard couplings found on locomotives and rolling stock. The kit also contains two warning boards with lamp and ladder, to complete the scene of an overlooked, but interesting aspect of the steam railway scene.
Water troughs were used by many railways around the world, not just in the UK, so the interest in this new item will not just be from British-outline modellers.
