- ES in ES44 stands for EvolutionSeries, and the number 44 stands for 4,400 horsepower.
- ES (Evolution Series) has four models: ES40DC, ES44DC, ES44AC, and ES44C4.
・ES44DC: A locomotive equipped with a DC motor and the successor to the C44-9W Dash9.
・ES44AC: A locomotive equipped with an AC motor and the successor to the AC4400CW.
・ES44C4: A locomotive that inherits the excellent features of ES44DC and ES44AC.

- This time, we will commercialize GE ES44C4 Florida East Coast (#801,#805) as a new product.
- In addition, GE ES44AC BNSF (#5801, #5953) and UP (#5400, #5553), GE ES44DC CSX (#5293, #5329) of the American freight railroad company are commercialized with new car numbers.
- We will commercialize GE ES44AC CN (#2899, #2930) and CP (#8701, 8736) of the Canadian freight rail company with new car numbers.and 67. A more realistic replacement knuckle coupler (rear) is included.
