Modern HO slot cars are fast and can get away from you in the heat of battle. In a crash they can fly up to 15 feet away from the track. That means a break in the action and sometimes, a break in the car if it hits a wall or other solid object.
Introducing the AFX Race Barrier made from our new Slip Rail material. Tall enough to keep errant cars within arm’s length when they crash. Tough enough to withstand years of crashing at top speed yet soft enough to prevent serious damage to your favorite AFX missile.
And the AFX Race Barrier is especially helpful if you have HO cars with low downforce traction magnets or no magnets at all. The low friction Slip Rail material will allow cars to slide easily when they come in contact so you can keep your speed up on the outside rails.
